Obsidian I²S DAC

The last link between the math and your ears. Everything the FPGA computes is still just numbers — this board is where they become sound again. Built around the TI PCM5102A (112 dB, fed 24-bit/48 kHz over I²S straight from the FPGA), with its own low-noise regulation, a true ground-centered output with no coupling capacitor in the signal path, and soft-mute on power events. Designed in KiCad, fabricated domestically, validated on our bench — every rail correct at first power-on, converter locked, a clean tone through the output. The first PCB the AICoE has ever designed, manufactured, and brought to life.
